Devilz Nite is a Horrorcore mixtape series. 
It's the biggest, the best, and the longest running Horrorcore compilation series, worldwide.

Underground Hip Hop legend Menacide (RIP) began the series in 2003.  

Crossworm became a co-organizer in 2006, and the series was passed down to him as director officially in 2009.

Menacide founded Devilz Nite so that recording artists in our scene can give back to the fans for their avid support throughout the year.  For those unfamiliar, our scene is the most supportive and we take pride in the fans' commitment to us.

All are welcome to submit.  But our guidelines are important.  Any deviation will make your song ineligible.  Please follow our guidelines carefully.

Crossworm is the curator and chooses the final tracklist.  

They're all available in some form online.  A couple different band camp pages have all of them including Menacide's Devilz Nite 2018 Books 1 & 2.

Because the series predates digital streaming platforms, Devilz Nite used to be self contained in one location, but over the years has become scattered. 

It would be very difficult to properly add them to streaming services. 

Moving forward, the series will be administered and optimized for streaming services and centralized so that fans can enjoy it for years to come.

The night before Halloween is colloquially known as Devil's Night in Detroit, Michigan USA.  For decades this particular night maintained a dark history of events from arson to murder, and was known to carry a lot of fear in the area.

The name of the mixtape was chosen to honor the reality of fear and darkness.  The very same energy of the genre.
